Get Your Glow On With The Latest Pixi Pretties Collaboration

It's here! The newest limited edition collab from Pixi Beauty! Pixi collaborated with three beauty influencers who were given an amazing opportunity to create Pixi dream products bearing their names or the name of their blog. That's right! These glowy essentials are a dream come true for them and we are thrilled to share them with you!

For those of you who are not familiar with Pixi Beauty, it was founded in London by Petra Strand, a Swedish-born makeup artist with more than 20+ years of experience. This amazing line focuses on natural, botanical-based beauty products that are cruelty-free, come in smart packaging, and are affordably priced.   

The Pixi & Maryam Maquillage Lit Kits ($18) are stunning! By day and by night, the classic colors will transform your look into an eye-catching, light-reflecting stunner! The MatteLast Liquid Lip provides full-on color that dries fast and stays put while hydrating lips. Liquid Fairy Lights is a liquid glimmer eyeshadow that lights up the eyes with super sparkles. Go ahead and get your sparkle on this holiday season. It won't be difficult with either one of these Lit Kits.    

Our take: The Maryam Maquillage Lit Kits are GORGEOUS and a must-have this holiday season! Elevate your look with these unforgettable nighttime glam essentials.  

Pixi & Heart Defensor created the Eye Heart Palette ($20) which is a gorgeous palette of eight beautiful light-reflecting shades reminiscent of hues in a spectacular sunset. The palette is highly pigmented and transfers true to color when applied with a fingertip. All of the colors can be worn alone or blended together for a customized look. The possibilities are endless for creating subtle looks by day and dramatic looks by night.   

A great travel companion, the eight warm shades add multi-dimensional radiance to the eyes. Like many Pixi Beauty products, the Pixi & Heart Defensor palette has four shimmery shades to make your eyes sparkle and shine and four matte shades for creating depth and dimension.

Our take: We found the shadows work best when applied with the fingertip. Our super-soft synthetic brushes had some fallout and didn't apply or blend as well as the fingertip application. The colors are also more highly pigmented with fingertip application. We love the warmth of the colors and the silky feel of the mineral shadows and give it a thumbs up for your makeup bag!

To create the look above, Kristina wore the shades Philippines, Coffee, and Lip Sync from the Pixi & Heart Defensor palette. 

Rachel has spent years testing beauty products and sharing her tips, tricks and favorites with her community online. The Pixi & Rachh Loves Layers Highlighting Palette is an all-over palette that comes in a beautiful coral box with a magnetic closure and large interior mirror. The highlighting palette is designed to let you build a look that's uniquely you through layering highlights just as you would layer an outfit, for that perfect custom glow. 

Pixi and Rachh Loves ($24) is a fun highlighting palette with five creamy-powder shades that feel silky smooth to the touch. Lace is a light shade with a champagne hue that works well on cheekbones, the cupid's bow, and brow bone. The fresh lavender shade, Zipper, can be applied anywhere and has a pinkish highlight when applied to the skin. We love this unique highlighting shade in the corner of the eyes to make the eyes sparkle, too. Knit is a bronzy color that has rusty undertones upon application. Tee and Clutch look similar in the tray but Tee takes on a golden hue and Clutch is a champagne highlight very similar to Lace. We would apply this to the chest and shoulders for the holidays.

Our take: We love the highlighting palette but will likely only use it for festive occasions when a shimmering decollete and glowing shoulders are a must.  

Pixi and From Head To Toe created Glow-y Powders ($16) in two soft, prismatic shades: Wednesdays and Fetch. The powders go on sheer and shimmer giving the skin a radiant glow and adding multi-dimensional highlights. The Endless Shade Stick ($14) in One & Done is a coppery-orange hue that easily glides on over the eyelid and is also smudge-proof. 

Our take: The powders are beautiful and go on soft and sheer. A light sweep on the cheeks leaves an instant glow with a hint of color. The shadow stick is great for all-day smudge-proof color. 

You can never have too many lippies, right? We don't leave home without them because they moisturize and keep our lips hydrated. The Pixi & Chloe Morello Lip Icing ($14) takes the cake. It is not what we were expecting at all. Looking at it, you would expect it to look all glittery and opalescent, but instead, it looks sheer, shiny, and beautiful on the lip - almost three dimensional. The glitter is very fine and not overpowering. All three colors (yes, even the purple color - Sorbet) look stunning on the lips. The darker pink is BonBon and the lighter pink shade is Parfait. 


Our take: You'll LOVE these lippies! They're our favorite! 

BEAUTY TIP: Most shadow palettes can be applied both wet and dry. To increase pigment lightly moisten the tip of your brush or applicator with Pixi Makeup Fixing Mist.  

Try this fun look: Apply your favorite eyeshadow to your entire lid using your fingertip, brush or applicator. Dampen a small angle brush and line along the upper lashes in the same shade (wet).
