Style, Decor & More: Why You Should Be Cooking With Thrive Algae Oil

Why You Should Be Cooking With Thrive Algae Oil

Disclosure: I received a Thrive party pack and/or compensation from Tryazon. All opinions are 100% my own.

With days getting longer and temperatures rising, I can't think of a better way to welcome spring than gathering with friends and family. That's why I was thrilled to have the opportunity to host a ThriveⓇ Better For You Cooking Party through Tryazon. It gives me a good reason to throw a party! For those of you are not familiar with Tryazon, it is the newest way to try innovative products first-hand by hosting informal get-togethers with friends. A party box is provided to get you started and all you need to do is host your get-together and share the party product!

Below is the party box I received to host the Thrive Better For You Cooking Party. The box contained a full-size sample of Thrive Culinary Algae Oil, several sample packets, a $40 Walmart Gift Card to purchase items for the party, info/recipe cards, and my Party Host Guide. There was even a bright orange silicone spatula which I used to prepare a variety of dishes for the party!

The best part of hosting this party was discovering ThriveⓇ Culinary Algae Oil. Oh! My! Goodness! If you love serving healthy, mouth-watering dishes for your family, you HAVE to try ThriveⓇ! ThriveⓇ is an everyday cooking oil made from algae which has the highest level of monounsaturated fat. Did you know that monounsaturated fat is good fat which can help prevent depression, protect you from heart disease, and even prevent certain kinds of cancer? It's true! It is also an "essential" fat meaning your body doesn't produce it on its own and must get it via dietary intake. Thrive Algae Oil is also the lowest in saturated fat of any cooking oil, including olive oil and avocado oil.* In fact, Thrive has 75% less saturated fat than olive oil! Now you can see why I am so excited about a culinary oil!

Unlike algae from the sea, ThriveⓇ algae were originally sourced from the sap of a chestnut tree. The culinary algae oil is light, neutral in taste, and has a high smoke point (up to 485ยบ) that makes it perfect for cooking, baking, and salad dressings. This is why I now replace most recipes calling for any other type of cooking oil with Thrive Algae Oil. It just makes good sense! When the flavor of the food shines through because Thrive Culinary Algae Oil is flavorless, why wouldn't you use it, right?

If an oil that brings goodness to your heart and cooking is not enough to win one over, Thrive Algae Oil is also better for the planet. The lower carbon and water footprints put Thrive at the top of the list compared to other cooking oils. Isn't that awesome? Algae is one of Earth's original sources of oil!

ThriveⓇ Algae Oil is better for you, better for cooking, and better for the planet. It simply doesn't get any better!

For my Thrive party, I hosted family and friends to an evening sampling a variety of foods. From yummy chicken piccata to oven-roasted potatoes and asparagus, we had a wonderful time tasting the different dishes made with algae oil and chatting about dishes we could make healthier by switching out other oils with ThriveⓇ Algae Oil. My guests were anxious to try Thrive to make deep fried dishes like arancini (Italian rice balls) and homemade french fries. These were just a few of the tasty suggestions they came up with, but there were many more!

Our Tryazon ThriveⓇ Better For You Cooking Party was a success! By the end of the evening, Thrive had won over every single person at the party including my brother-in-law who is a chef!

When you serve ThriveⓇ Algae Oil, your guests will be in culinary heaven and will never know that they are tasting delicious food made with heart-healthy algae oil! But, of course, you will want to share your healthy culinary secret with friends and family so that they can cook healthier meals with Thrive Algae Oil, too!

Thrive Culinary Algae Oil can be found online at Amazon and many local retailers such as Walmart.

  9. I tried this the other day after visiting your site and while I didn't think it had any flavor it is good to know it is healthy and won't drown out the flavor of my dishes.
