Style, Decor & More: Southwestern Charm at La Posada Pintada Inn

Southwestern Charm at La Posada Pintada Inn

I recently took a family trip to Utah and Arizona. Our first stop, we stayed at the charming La Posada Pintada Inn in Bluff, Utah. This beautiful and picturesque adobe-style casita sits in a valley at the foot of red rock turrets which are a stunning backdrop for this quiet and peaceful retreat. La Posada Pintada's Southwestern charm made us feel welcomed and the tastefully decorated room had all the comforts of home. Born and raised in Bluff, Jennifer, the owner, takes great pride in her boutique inn, and it shows.

Our clean and spacious room at La Posada Pintada with two queen beds, flat screen television, and all the comforts of home.

An in-room mini-bar with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. I love that Bluff's tap water comes from artesian wells underground and are filtered naturally.
A large sofa and writing desk create a comfortable space to relax. The exposed brick on the wall adds character and a rustic feel to the room.

The view from inside our room: The chairs on the balcony beckon you to sit down, relax and take in the extraordinary view!

The private balcony was peaceful and serene as we saw the sun set behind the rocks. Later at night we enjoyed the stars!
A colorful and charming Mexican style sink in the bathroom!

After a long day traveling, the large travertine shower and massaging jets were all I needed to completely unwind!

Refreshing Singing River Farms back-to-basics soap and body care products were calming and refreshing. The Lavender Moisturizing Lotion was fantastic!

Good morning! A complimentary breakfast is included with your stay! Jennifer, the owner, is the perfect hostess! She and her staff were most accommodating and will make you feel like you are staying with old friends.

The hotel offered biscuits with sausage gravy, oatmeal, fresh fruit, fruit salad, and yogurt for breakfast. We took our plates outside to dine on the patio and watch hummingbirds while taking in the panoramic views.

La Posada Pintada Inn is an authentic adobe-style inn that makes you feel as if you are stepping back in time to the old Southwest. It is close to Natural Bridges, Four Corners and Monument Valley, and is a picturesque and quiet retreat. We'll be back!

La Posada Pintada is located within 45 miles of Monument Valley, the Natural Bridges National Park and Four Corners. We visited all three of these parks:
Does this place look familiar? This is where Forrest, in the Forrest Gump movie, decides to stop running and go home. The scene was filmed just outside Monument Valley, Utah (shown above). The kids got a kick out of it!

"The Mittens" at Monument Valley.

Arches National Park is a red rock wonderland of balanced rocks and arches!

 Arches National Park, Moab, Utah

Four Corners is where Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico intersect at one point. My daughter wanted to sit in all four states at one time. Yes. We drove about 30 minutes out of our way so she could say she did it. hee-hee

We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend a stay at La Posada Pintada. Tell Jennifer that Style, Decor & More sent you!
