Style, Decor & More: GO RED!

GO RED!

Source
Valentine's Day is not the only time to wear red. GO RED was on Friday, 2/7, and women across the United States wore red to help raise awareness of heart disease.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death of women in the U.S.

GO RED's campaign is the first step in raising awareness. The strength of mothers, sisters, daughters and friends, fighting side by side is more powerful than any killer. So, what do you say? Are you ready to jump in and join the fight? I hope so. Because together, we can put an end to heart disease. Request your FREE Red Dress Pin HERE! (Scroll down to the Lower right side of the Go Red page).

If you remember, back in November I shared behind the scenes photos of a photo shoot for an upcoming Go Red feature in Cleveland Magazine. Well, the magazine is officially out in circulation, and the Cleveland "Go Red" ladies are featured in this February's issue of CLEVELAND MAGAZINE! It is exciting to be surrounded by so many amazing women from northeast Ohio!

So, where is Waldo? I'm in there! Third row up on the far right 1/3 of the page. My sister, Marien, is in the front wearing a long red dress and my friend, Michelle, is in the second row to the left of me. Two other special people I've gotten to know through volunteering are Dori and Alison. All four of these ladies give so much of their time for the cause and are truly special people.

    1. Glad to hear you are taking care of yourself. It's so important not to take our health for granted. My mother recently had a very small stroke and now she and my father will take their blood pressure every day.
