  19. Special food. Heart shaped whoopee pie cookies. Special treat sacks for each of my kids,and hubby, and sharing stories of my children's birth and how much we love'd them from the start, and how much we love them now. A little history lesson about Valentine's day, then a a family game.

  20. Hmmmm, one year I did a scavenger hunt for my hubby--- he had to read the clues to find his Valentine's gifts that I had gotten for him! The last clue & gift was me of course, hiding out in our bedroom!!!

  45. I'm actually not fond of Valentine's Day but when pressed, I would suggest doing something very different than usual - if you usually go out to dinner for special occasions, cook at home something new or if you have movie night at home, go to the movies.

  66. One year I took post it notes and hid love notes inside of CD cases and DVD cases around the bedroom, and he found them over the next couple years actually because he had so many CD's and DVDs, funny thing is I find some every now and then

  67. I made a menu up of all the things he could choose to eat and be pampered with. I had rose petals at the door when he walked into the house, candles let all over the house and living room. I put the dining room table in front of the fire place and the night started and ended perfectly!! He was so freaking shocked I think he said WTH OMG a million times!! LOL

  85. I think my best idea for Valentines day would be to ship the kids off to the movies for the evening while I make a candle lite dinner for just the two of us. By the time we're done with the wine and dine the kids should be back but that's ok because its time for a bubble bath and on to a more romantic night.
