Style, Decor & More: LIGHTAIR IONFLOW 50 AIR PURIFIER REVIEW & GIVEAWAY!

LIGHTAIR IONFLOW 50 AIR PURIFIER REVIEW & GIVEAWAY!

LIGHTAIR
Can you spot the LIGHTAIR IonFlow unit in this room?

Lightair is the result of 25 years of extensive research.
Lightair aims to improve people's health and comfort by offering the best indoor air quality products possible for every environment.
 It's all about clean air!
LIGHTAIR Purifiers Blend With the Decor of Your Room!
As the weather turns colder, most people will be spending more time indoors. Many of us don't think about the air quality in our homes, but indoor air is full of particles such as bacteria, virus, mold, pollen, dust, etc. In fact, there are more pollutants inside our homes than outside. When I learned of this, I knew it was time to look into an air purification system.
Unique, Sleek & Stylish!
When I first came across Lightair's website, I was pleasantly surprised by their sleek and stylish air purifiers that blended into the room as if it were part of the decor. The transparent design and slim silhouette offer a stylish alternative to the industrial looking air purifiers. Lightair IonFlow 50 has earned several prestigious design awards, including the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) and the Elle Decor Rising Star Award.

The Lightair IonFlow 50 comes in three different models offering great versatility in the placement of your air purifier: IonFlow Style is designed for the floor, IonFlow Surface is designed to be placed on the floor or table, and IonFlow Sky, is designed to hang from the ceiling. All three share the same style, features and performance.

I was delighted to review the Lightair IonFlow 50 Style floor model. The unit is very easy to assemble and it took me only a few minutes to put it together. When I turned on the unit, I had to listen carefully to make sure it was working.  It is very quiet! The only way to be sure the air purifier is on, is to check the blue indicator light at the top of the unit (shown above).  There is an optional light that illuminates the base of the unit (I call it my night light). I enjoy drifting off to sleep with the tranquil, soft blue light casting a glow over the room.

Lightair has thought of everything. Cleaning the reusable filter is very easy to do. The aluminum ring in the center of the unit is the filter/collector. The collector is positively charged to act like a large magnet for dirt. If touched, the aluminum ring does have a mild electrical charge. If you have small children or pets, you may want to use the protective guard (shown above) that will help to prevent any little zaps to curious hands or sniffing noses. I cleaned my unit for the first time today. There was a layer of particle dust around the entire collector.  I shut off the unit and removed the collector by simply lifting it up and off the unit. The I washed it in the sink, dried it off, and carefully slipped it back into place. It's that easy to clean! I am thrilled that I don't have to worry about replacing filters.

The Lightair IonFlow 50 is also environmentally friendly.  The Lightair purifier is energy efficient and uses less than 7W per hour, which is important when you consider that air purifiers should be kept on at all times to work efficiently and effectively. It is also ozone-free.  The ozone level is considered to be equal to zero. This is very important as there are many other air purifiers on the market that are ozone-generating purifiers.

The Lightair IonFlow 50 is a wonderful product. I am very impressed that such a compact and stylish unit could effectively remove the smallest particles from my room, which are considered to be the most dangerous to our health. This purifier can make a world of difference for someone who is suffering with allergies, asthma or respiratory problems. After only ten days of using my IonFlow 50 Style air purifier, I feel I am sleeping better and the air actually feels lighter and cleaner in my room. I absolutely love it!

With the Holidays just around the corner, the Lightair IonFlow 50 would make a great gift! To purchase a Lightair IonFlow 50 air purifier, or to find a store near you, visit www.lightair.com. Target, Amazon.com and Sharper Image are just a few of the stores that carry Lightair products.

  13. I learned that one thing that pollutes the indoor air is Oxygen ions. Their site explained those ions are generated by human activities and pollution; they generate positively charged ions which create an unnatural imbalance of ions that can cause health problems. They say in a healthy environment, about 2/3rds of the ions should be negative ones. That's pretty interesting.

    ReplyDelete
  14. I learned that Our home environment contains many sources of pollution, which derive clothes, carpets, furniture, pets, cooking, outdoor vehicle and industrial pollution as well as residue from ourselves such as hair, skin, bacteria, virus and more.
