Have you ever wanted to change your hair color but were afraid of making a 'permanent' commitment? Well, what if I told you that you CAN easily change your hair color and rinse it out whenever you wish without damaging your hair!?

Thanks to Roux Fanci-Full Temporary Hair Color Rinse and Color Styling Mousse products you can temporarily change the color of your hair without the long-lasting commitment of semi- or permanent hair dyes. In other words, if you want to try the latest platinum-silver trend, boost the vibrancy of your current hair color or spice up brown tresses, you can have all the fun without being loyal to one shade. If you don't like a color, simply rinse it out!

No mix, no rinse, no fuss, no risk.

Roux is a trusted brand that has been beautifying women by enhancing their hair color experience for over 80 years! Roux Fanci-Full and `Tween Time feature new moisturizing formulas and enhanced packaging for fast, easy, and affordable temporary color. Fanci-Full temporary color is instantaneous and non-damaging, too with added styling lotion that allows for coloring and styling in one easy step.

WOW! Can I just say that I am AMAZED at how natural Fanci-Full's Color Styling Mousse in Golden Spell looks on my hair and how well it covers my gray! I can't wait to try other colors!

Fanci-Full not only looks amazing but extends the life of your hair color! Most of us don't have the time or money to go back to the salon at the first sign of root re-growth. Roux knows this and created their Fanci-Full temporary hair color so that you can keep your hair color looking its best between color treatments, control brassiness, and blend away the gray.

NO DEVELOPMENT TIME.

COLOR WITHOUT COMMITMENT.

Roux's Fanci-Full Golden Spell #26

Roux's Fanci-Full Sweet Cream #19

I'm obsessed with Fanci-Full's full line of temporary hair color products! The Color Styling Mousse is a creamy-whipped mousse is super easy to apply to my hair and as I mentioned above, it is UNBELIEVABLE HOW WELL IT COVERS MY GRAY! And just look at the Golden Spell #26 color...It looks so natural! Fanci-Full's Color Styling Mousse is available in 11 natural looking shades and retails for $10.49.

Fanci-Full's Temporary Haircolor Rinse is a little different from the Color Styling Mousse, but it is also super easy to use. I poured the rinse into a spray bottle for easy application and saturated my towel-dried hair. I styled and blow dried my hair as usual and it produced the same great results as you see with the Styling Mousse (See photo above). I personally preferred the Color Styling Mousse because it can be applied in or out of the shower with ease and with great precision, but if you want to thoroughly saturate your hair with color, then the Haircolor Rinse applied to towel-dried hair while standing in the shower or over a sink, might be easier for you. Fanci-Full Temporary Haircolor Rinse is available in 13 natural-looking shades and retails $7.49.

Roux even created an Instant Root Concealer called 'Tween Time to help you extend the life of your hair color and conceal gray hair. Roux's 'Tween Time is an instant root concealer that blends away gray and helps hide roots in between hair coloring applications. It is formulated with moisturizers and is great for quick touch-ups!  'Tween Time retails for $7.49.

Roux's CleanTouch Haircolor Stain Remover is a great multi-purpose product that not only erases hair color from skin and scalp but also removes excess hair color from the ends of hair providing professional salon-like results. CleanTouch can also be used with other hair color brands and can be used to assist in removing stains from clothing. I didn't experience any issues with staining, but it's nice to know it is available if needed. CleanTouch retails for $4.99.

Roux hair color and hair care products are available at Sally Beauty stores across the country and at sallybeauty.com. Be sure to check out all the colors available.

  1. I desperately need a change from my drab salt & pepper colored hair. The temporary color sounds intriguing and could certainly point me in the direction of a permanent color.

  4. Kinda LOVE this idea because I actually love putting all sorts of colors in my hair but... Even though I am an ADULT, my mom tends to flip out - haahhahaha! So a semi-perm. solution would be great!

  8. I love this! I always loved the thought of dying my hair, but hate the idea of it coming out wrong, or fading to a color i dont like, and then you have to worry about roots popping through, and really the whole process is a pain. This seems like a much better idea! I really need to give it a try.

  11. The last time I dyed my hair was about 12 years ago. I'd like to die my hair jet black but I'm not too fond of chemicals. I do love how simple the process was for you though.

    1. Hi, I agree! The color couldn't be easier! I can certainly understand not wanting to use chemicals on your hair. Many people are sensitive to chemicals, too. The mousse is nice because women with sensitive skin can avoid their scalp & skin.
      Thanks for stopping by!

  12. Wow!! I'll have to try it out! I can't suffer through the pain of permanent colour treatments due to a very senstive scalp so I'll have to pick up some and go back to being blind instead of mousey light brown and lovely grey!
