Anti-Aging Report: How To Boost Your Collagen Levels And Keep Wrinkles At Bay

We all know that a healthy lifestyle is important to looking and feeling our best and that eating nutrient-rich meals keep us strong and healthy. However, as we age, changes in our bodies make it more difficult to get all the nutrients we need. For example, your collagen levels begin to drop every year and soon you see fine lines and wrinkles.

The reason wrinkles appear as you age is quite simple. Collagen is one of the most plentiful proteins in your body and is found in your skin, bones, muscles, cartilage, tendons, teeth, gut, and blood vessels. When you lose collagen, you lose elasticity, firmness, and radiance in your skin.

As you age, how do you know if you are getting enough collagen in your diet?

A few months ago I swabbed my inner cheeks and sent off my DNA to be tested. The DNA test kit was designed specifically to analyze my skin care and skin health and quite honestly, I didn't know what to expect. I was surprised when the results came back and my collagen levels were well below average! How could that be? I take care of myself, eat right, and exercise. I get plenty of rest, drink eight glasses of water a day, I eat fish at least once per week, I have an egg every morning, and I eat fruits & veggies all the time! It just didn't make any sense until my husband said: "You are over 50 years old, you know!" I guess I forgot that age is an extremely important factor when it comes to collagen levels in our bodies. I feel younger than my age, so the low levels of collagen caught me completely off guard.

After the age of 25 years, the production of collagen decreases at a rate of 1.5% per year!

After the shock and realization of my collagen levels set in, I took action and began searching for the best collagen supplements available on the market.

After doing my homework, I reached out to NeoCell. NeoCell is a leader in the natural supplement and skin care industries. For over two decades their focus has been on Collagen supplements. Each NeoCell product is designed to support the Collagen systems in our bodies such as those that maintain vibrant youth, radiant beauty, and total body wellness.

America's #1 Collagen Brand
NeoCell provided me with three collagen products: Derma Matrix Collagen Skin Complex, Glow Matrix Advanced Skin Hydrator, and Marine Collagen. Each of the products focuses on collagen or supports the skin to reduce the signs of aging.
NeoCell DERMA MATRIX is a powder formula mixed with water. Add one scoop to a glass of water. It doesn't have any taste, so if you need to you can add it to juice or smoothies. Derma Matric provides technologically advanced ingredients designed to internally nourish the skin. Like all NeoCell products, Derma Matrix is standardized to be both bioavailable and bioactive for maximum absorption and efficacy. Clinically proven Bioactive NeoCell Collage increases skin hydration, supports skin hydration & cell turnover. Vitamin C & Amla Fruit Extract aids in healthy collagen formation and protects against cell-damaging free radicals.

COMMITTED TO COLLAGEN

NeoCell Glow Matrix Advanced Skin Hydrator features a patented, cutting-edge Glow Matrix Blend™ formula that delivers several collagen-supporting ingredients like hyaluronic acid, gamma-linolenic acid, pine bark extract and more. This combination of Essential Fatty Acids, carotenoids, herbal extracts and more is designed to leave your skin feeling smooth, healthy and hydrated.

 Rapid Action Ceramides™

NeoCell Marine Collagen is a premium nutri-cosmetic formulated to promote healthy, strong, and hydrated skin. Collagen is one of the main constituents of the skin and is responsible for its structural integrity. Hyaluronic Acid is an essential nutrient for tissue hydration. These premium ingredients work synergistically with a vita-mineral blend to support healthy collagen formation and youthful, radiant skin.
ALLERGY WARNING: If you have an allergy to fish, please note that NeoCell Marine Collagen does contain fish.

In summary, I have used all three NeoCell products mentioned in this article interchangeably for several weeks and am very impressed with my results. I feel like my skin has more elasticity and is healthier looking, but my personal indicator of whether a moisturizer or collagen supplement is working is for it to pass the "prune lips" test. Unless you are born with plump full lips or receive lip injections, your lips can give away your age. Mine do! I am happy to report that my lips are fuller and I haven't changed my beauty routine. The only change has been to add NeoCell supplements to my diet.

NeoCell products can be found at better retail stores such as GNC, Vitamin World, Walgreens, and Whole Foods Market. To find a location near you, visit HERE and scroll down to find the locator. Follow along on Facebook for the latest updates and promotions!

Note: Before taking any dietary supplement it is always wise to consult with a healthcare provider who is knowledgeable about nutrition and dietary supplementation.
