Style, Decor & More: 16 Magnificent Mason Jar Crafts

16 Magnificent Mason Jar Crafts

Every year around Labor Day, my family and I set aside a few days to make tomato sauce. My husband is from Italy and if there is one tradition he will not give up, it's homemade pasta sauce on Sundays. And since I've always had a love affair with Italian food, you won't hear any complaints from me.😉 My sweet mother who is Austrian, would always tell me that I better marry an Italian. I was not a fan of weiner schnitzel every Sunday and needless to say, didn't quite fit in with the meat and potato members of the family. So, when I met my husband, my mom was happy that I would finally eat!

As I sit here enveloped by nearly 100 mason jars, I thought it would be fun to share a roundup of mason jar crafts from some sweet and crafty blog buddies. There's surely something to be said for the versatility and simplicity of mason jarsas you will see in the crafts shared below. Whether you like casually elegant, shabby chic, or fun and whimsical, the sky is the limit.

  13. So many fun ideas. I really love mason jars and all of the things you can do with them. I use them for pen holders, straw holder, potpourri keepers, and I decorate with them with dried beans, peas etc in them. I also love your tradition for making sauce.
