Are you planning a trip to the happiest place on earth or to the Orlando, Florida area any time soon? Before booking a hotel, let me first tell you about a hidden gem I discovered that is tucked away on a stately street and only minutes from Disney and other attractions. It's the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek! This AMAZING hotel offers its guests a luxurious stay with relaxing surroundings and plenty of things to do for couples and families. If you are a business traveler, you will also appreciate this quiet and luxurious retreat.
The grand lobby (shown below) welcomes you with its captivating picture window and amazing views! Beautiful decor surrounds you from floor to ceiling. Yes, even the ceiling sparkles like diamonds!
While strolling through the hotel you can't help but notice the stunning and stately pieces of contemporary furniture. The pieces are truly unique and every area of the hotel will have a different style, making this very large hotel feel more intimate. There is an interesting Ponce de Leon theme incorporated throughout the hotel. A definite must-see is the stunning, two-story wall mural of Queen Elizabeth I. Why Queen Elizabeth, you ask? It is rumored that Ponce de Leon and Queen Elizabeth were lovers. Interesting, isn't it? My 10th-grade history teacher used to make her class more interesting by giving us "the inside scoop" on men and women in history. She would love the dish on this alleged affair!
I can't forget to show you these amazing chairs. They are not only ultra unique, but they're super comfy too!
Our guestroom was pleasing to the eye and boasted a beautiful mix of eclectic decor and style. Its silky sapphire drapery felt regal-ish while floral coverlets on the beds exuded a cheery, exotic vibe. The beds were super comfy and all the comforts of home. There were welcoming touches in the room which included complimentary bottled water, a coffee/tea station, and Blue Harmony Spa toiletries.
Our guestroom had a private balcony that overlooked a sprawling 10-acre lake with fountains and swimming pools. The views from our guestroom were breathtaking and spectacular both during the day and at nighttime. The photos you will see below, sincerely do not do it justice. It's far more beautiful in person!
More stunning views from our balcony!
Do you see Disney's Swan & Dolphin Hotel and Epcot in the distance?
Do you see Disney's Swan & Dolphin Hotel and Epcot in the distance?
Watching fireworks from our balcony was an unexpected and delightful treat. We could see both Epcot and Magic Kingdom's fireworks at the same time! If you turn the video volume on (low volume is sufficient), you can see and hear the fireworks and, regretfully, my o-o-hs and a-h-hs too! 😉
Dining
Whether you want to enjoy dining on sushi or the fresh catch of the day at Wyndham's deep blu seafood grille, feast on mouthwatering Italian cuisine at Tesoro Cove, have a refreshing drink at Back Bay Pool Bar & Grill, sipping on your Starbucks cappuccino from The Barista by the pool in the morning, or simply having an evening cocktail at Bar 1521, it is only a very short walk from your guestroom.
Spa Services
Blue Harmony Spa is a restorative retreat offering extensive spa services, including massage therapies, body treatment, facials, manicures, and more! I didn't have the time to pamper myself on this trip, but I WILL be back!
The extraordinary staff were attentive and provided exemplary service from the moment we arrived at the hotel and throughout our stay. The front desk and concierge were always ready to greet us with a smile.

Fitness Room
My son and I loved the fitness room and made it a point to work out every morning and night during our visit. The equipment is outstanding! This is the best fitness room I have ever seen (and I don't mean in just a hotel) - anywhere! Everything is state-of-the-art! Who wouldn't love working out while viewing the stunning outdoor landscape through the full-length windows of the fitness center?
There is an awesome game room across the hall from the fitness center for young and old alike. A great treat for the kids!
Gift Shop
Have you forgotten something? If during your stay you realize you forgot to bring something or if you want to pick up a little something for the neighbor who is watching Fido, don't forget to stop by the Wyndham gift shop. You will find gifts, sundries, and anything else you may need! The front desk also has personal items (toothbrushes, sewing kits, etc.) if you have forgotten those too!
We truly enjoyed our stay at Wyndham's amazing resort! You could honestly spend days discovering the resort's aquatic scene alone. There are six pools, eight hot tubs, and two lazy rivers on-site, beckoning you to relax and soak up the sun! Combine this with other activities such as an 18-hole Championship golf course, mini-golf, volleyball, and jogging trails, and is it any wonder we didn't want to leave?! In fact, we asked to add additional days, but they were completely booked due to Valentine's day weekend!

This looks like such an amazing hotel to visit and stay at!! I love when hotels have so many extras!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely amazing. The Wyndham Grand Orland Bonnet Creek Resort seems like the perfect getaway. I would have a hard time leaving the resort to go anywhere else. I'm pretty certain I could stay at least a week and enjoy the guestroom, pools, fireworks view, and the food...all in one beautifully decorated spot!

Wyndham's sounds like the perfect resort to stay in. I am in love with your photos and that fitness room would be the first place the kids would want to head to. As for me, I'd be content to sit and watch the view with a cup of java. That's so interesting about Queen Elizabeth. I have watched every movie that's come out about her on Amazon Prime, now I am going to have to google to find out a little about the alleged affair lol.
ReplyDeleteI love watching and reading about QE too - actually anything about the royals. When I heard about the alleged affair, I looked it up on the internet and found a few sites referring to Ponce de Leon and QE being lovers. I was surprised because I never heard that one before. lol Thanks for hopping by! Enjoy your weekend! :)
DeleteWyndham's sounds like an amazing resort. The fitness room looks outstanding and the photos look so inviting. Thank you for a great article.
ReplyDeleteWe'll be in Orlando in May and I hope our hotel is as beautiful as this one. So glad you had a good time.
ReplyDeleteThis Wyndham resort hotel sounds like an oasis right in the heart of Orlando's best attractions. I especially like view of the fireworks from the balcony, not to mention the beautiful sunset. I'll have to remember this hotel for the next time that I'm in Orlando.
ReplyDeleteIt's been almost a year since my first visit to Orlando and I miss it! This looks like an AMAZING place to stay, what gorgeous rooms!! I wanna go!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful resort. It looks like it would be a perfect getaway.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome. I will have to check them out for my trip to Orlando. Looks good.
ReplyDeleteI love visiting Orlando. This sounds like a great place to stay, being so close to the parks. And I love that you can see the fireworks from your room, no fighting crowds in the park late at night after the fireworks show.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness. It is gorgeous. We want to go to Orlando and this would be a great place to stay.
ReplyDeleteThis looks amazing! I'll be visiting Orlando later this year, so I'll have to look this up!
ReplyDeleteThe Wyndham chain of hotels are always so impressive. This looks like the perfect spot to stay on the next grand vacation.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this place look AH-MAZING!! I wouldn't hesitate to stay there for a minute, bookmarked for our next trip. Yet, it makes me want to plan one now!
ReplyDeleteWOW makes me want to take a trip to Orlando now! I love a good hotel with an amazing gym or a gym at all. I always make a purpose to workout whenever I'm at a hotel. Those chairs are awesome, I want one in my room.
ReplyDeleteIve gone to orlando before but never this place, must go next time for sure. Look like a great place to stay.
ReplyDeleteWhen I lived in Orlando I ran a all girls networking group and use to host poolside gatherings at this resort all the time!!! Really is a fantastic resort!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful hotel for sure. We are going to Orlando end of March for our Disney trip but in the meantime there is 2 nights we need a regular hotel before we head to Disney and then when we do Universal. I will definitely be checking this hotel out as the view is amazing!! Thanks for sharing this.
ReplyDeleteWe go to Disney a lot so this is DEFINITELY on my list! I want to cehck it out for sure.
ReplyDeleteThis hotel is BEYOND beautiful! That would be reason enough for me to book a vacation to Florida! lol
ReplyDeleteWow! This would be an awesome place to stay when we go to Disney. Looks awfully expensive though and I'm not sure we can afford to stay here.
ReplyDeleteKeep checking the rates! I've seen it drop to as low as $109/night. A great deal for all of the fun activities available for families. There's even a kiddie pool that has a massive ship facade and a lazy river. :) Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteSURE SOUNDS FUN BUT FOR THE POOR I COULD PAY RENT FOR 3 MONTHS BUT ONE CAN DREAM
ReplyDeleteI would have loved to stay here when we went to Orlando for my sister's Cheer Competition. I bet it was pricy though.
ReplyDeleteHi Tara, It wasn't too pricey. At certain times of the year, I believe you can find rates for $80/night (I'm going by memory). That's far less than a Disney value resort and a lot nicer! :)
DeleteThanks so much for stopping by! :)
Island of Adventure: Rides, appears and intelligent exercises takes you to an otherworldly voyage. The mass liner, creepy crawly man fascination, Jurassic Park waterway are a portion of the principle attractions at this stop.Orlando park tour
ReplyDeleteThis looks like an amazing hotel. I hope to stay here on my next trip to Disney. Beats staying at Disney's expensive resorts. They are way over priced for what you get.
