Are you looking for the five best makeup brushes to add to your cosmetic collection? The Keshima brush set includes five makeup brushes that are essential for creating a professional look and a large brush cup holder.
The set contains the following brushes: Powder Brush, Angled Blush Brush, Eyeshadow Brush, Blending Brush, and Eyeliner Brush. Below is a summary of my thoughts for each of the brushes.
Angled Blush Brush - The perfectly shaped brush applies, blends well, and is great for highlighting the apples of my cheeks. I am used to using a larger brush on my cheeks, but it still works well. With its smaller size, it can also be used as a contouring brush to add dimension.
Shadow Brush - A go-to brush for applying eye shadow to the lid. The brush picks up as much or as little shadow as I need and the bristles are soft on my eyelids. It's very important to use the softest of bristles around the delicate eye area.
Blending Brush - Beautifully blends and softens the shadow colors on the eyelid and in the crease.
Eyeliner Brush - A firm, yet flexible brush. I don't normally use a liquid eyeliner and had difficulty applying a fine line along the tip of my lashes when using this brush.
Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of these silky smooth brushes. It is a great set for an amateur makeup junkie, but may contain enough brushes for an avid beauty savvy pro. For example, I need a concealer brush, which would surely be missed by a makeup diva. Aside from that, I have been using the brushes for about a week now, and am pleased with how they are holding up with daily use. The bristles retained their shape and there was little shedding after gently washing with a small amount of baby shampoo and water.
Eyeliner Brush - A firm, yet flexible brush. I don't normally use a liquid eyeliner and had difficulty applying a fine line along the tip of my lashes when using this brush.
The brushes look great! I still think they are a bit high-priced.
