Get Glam Nails with Madam Glam!

If you have been following my blog for the last few months, you know that I am a fan of Madam Glam Gel Nail Polish.  Their gel polishes are super easy to use and keep my nails looking as if I've just stepped out of a salon! All the nail colors I've sampled from Madam Glam leave behind a super high gloss shine that demands serious attention! Believe me, I've received compliments from cashiers at stores to friends and complete strangers at social events.  Anybody who sees your hands will take notice. And I must say, holding a fancy drink with awe-inspiring color and shine on your nails is feels amazing!
Madam Glam's super easy-to-use 3-step UV gel nail polish system consists of a base coat, nail color, and top coat. Each step requires a short curing time: 2 minutes under a UV Lamp, 30 seconds under an LED lamp, and offers the ideal solution for those seeking a well-groomed manicure without a visit to a manicurist. It's so fast, easy, long-lasting, and oh so shiny, people will think you've spent a fortune on your nails! Just take a look at the high gloss shine on my nails (below) and you will see why I LOVE Madam Glam!

I used two thin coats to get the results you see in the photos. The deep red color is Very Chic #410 and I am extremely pleased with the overall quality, color and ease of use.  My mani is five days old in the photo below. There are no signs of wear, and the shine is incredible! Madam Glam claims 3-4 weeks of durability on their site which is very impressive! I've personally never gone past 2 1/2 weeks because I can't resist the urge to peel it off! {smile} My daughter, however, has kept her Madam Glam mani for 3 weeks.

A few tips before getting started:
1) Use a cutical stick to wipe excess gel from around the nail plate BEFORE curing. Once the nail is cured, it will be difficult to remove from your skin.

2) When the base coat is curing under the lamp, check to see if you missed covering any area of your nails. (Base coat glows under the light and will reveal missed spots). If this happens, simply re-apply the base coat over the missing area and cure.

Suggested application:
- Prepare nails by pushing back cuticles with a cuticle stick.
- Gently buff the shine from your nails.
- Remove dust from nail plate with an alcohol wipe.
- Apply a thin layer of the UV Base Coat Gel to nail plate
- Cure 2 minutes by UV Lamp, 30 sec by LED.

- Apply a thin coat of Soak-Off Nail Polish. Don't worry if the first coat appears streaky.   The second coat will offer better coverage.
- Cure 2 minutes by UV Lamp, 30 sec by LED.
- Repeat steps 5-6, if necessary. Some colors may need 2-3 coats.
- Apply a thin coat of Madam Glam's Top Coat.
Cure 2 minutes by UV Lamp, 30 sec by LED,
- Use an alcohol pad to wipe off tacky residue to reveal a high gloss shine!

That's it! No additional drying time is required! My nails look soooo shiny that you would think they are still wet, but in fact, they are ready for anything!
For an easy visual tutorial, see my Youtube video HERE!  I tried a new online video software and it is blurry, but you will clearly see how easy it is to do it yourself.

My daughter is wearing Navy Blue #191. You won't be feeling blue with this deep, rich hue that transitions effortlessly into fall. Even in dim lighting, the blue color persists and does not look black like darker colors often do.

Lastly, we tried the new chameleon gel colors from Madam Glam.  My daughter took these photos with her cell phone and they came out a bit grainy, but you can see the beautiful color variations when the polish is exposed to different temperatures! The color shown below is Man Eater and a sampling of Voulez-vous will be coming soon! I was anxious and excited to share these gorgeous shades for fall that I didn't want to wait until we needed our next mani! That could take weeks! :)

Madam Glam's UV Gel Nail PolishBase Coat, and Top Coat retail for $19.95 each. Sounds expensive, but very affordable when you consider the price of a professional manicure. If you do not already have an LED or UV light, there will be an extra cost for that as well. The good news...For a limited time, you will receive 30% off when you use Promo Code styledecor30 at checkout!

To learn more about Madam Glam or to make a purchase, visit HERE.  They offer an assortment of non-UV Nail Polish in fun and beautiful colors too! You will want to check out the entire collection when there.

Also, don't miss a thing! Be sure to connect with Madam Glam on Facebook and Twitter for the latest updates and promotions!

Have you tried Madam Glam or another gel polish before, how did it work for you? Let us know in the comments below! I know some people complain that gel polish is difficult to remove and leaves their nails unhealthy, but I can honestly say (and my daughter agrees), Madam Glam is the easiest gel manicure to remove and there is no damage to our nails.

Hope you enjoyed today's post! Have a great day!

xoxo,

Nancy

  1. The chameleon color is very cool! Does it have to be extreme color changes to make it change color?

    1. The chameleon colors will change with slight temperature variations too, but the greater the change in temperature the greater the change in color. :) Thanks for stopping by!
