With St. Patrick's Day coming up on Tuesday, I thought I would share an inspiration board to celebrate St. Patty's Day in style! I already know what some of you are thinking...You don't like wearing green. Well, if you are not a fan of green, look for one green piece that can be worn long after the holiday passes. Green denim jeans can be worn all year long when paired with seasonal colors: pastels in summer, golden tones in fall, and over-sized ivory sweaters in winter.
Add a leopard accessory such as a scarf, belt, or shoes to kick it up a notch and make your outfit pop! There are always plenty of fashion faux pas out there on St. Patty's Day, but you don't have the one who is dressed like a leprechaun in a green ensemble from head to toe. For example, soften your St. Patty's Day look wearing a white or bright colored shirt with green denim, a black blazer with a green shirt, a pastel pink ensemble with green accessories, or a leopard print scarf with a green blouse or denim pants (as seen below). Green and nude....LOVE!
With a little planning, you may discover you enjoy having a green piece or two in your wardrobe. Just maybe, green will begin to grow on you (pun intended)!
WILL YOU BE WEARING GREEN ON
