We're nearly half way through February and I'm still working on organizing my vanity area. I currently have all my makeup products and tools in cosmetic cases. While neat and organized, I find I'm spending way too much time searching case to case for what I need. Well, I discovered some great finds on Pinterest. Of course, everything is awesome on Pinterest.
My favorite inspiration is very affordable. Check out the jar turned brush holder above! I've seen apothecary jars at TJMaxx for under $10 and I bet they would look absolutely beautiful as cosmetic brush organizers! I'm now on a quest for pretty jars! If you are on a very tight budget, try a local dollar store for pretty jars! You'd be surprised what you can find for a buck!
Once you find yourjar, use Colorfill to keep the brushes in place, and that's it! You can find Colorfill (the tiny beads at the bottom of the jar) for aound $4 for a one lb. bag at any craft store. Now, is that a deal, or what?

ReplyDeleteOH ...I love this idea!! It is so easy and looks so nice. Yet I would have never thought of it! Thank you for sharing. It sure beats trying to dig through all my brushes in a drawer!!!
